System Description
The Soil Shrinkage and Cracking Test System is a high-precision experimental instrument specially designed for investigating the shrinkage and cracking behavior of soils. It enables comprehensive analysis of the shrinkage deformation characteristics and cracking patterns of soil specimens, and accurately identifies key influencing factors and their mechanisms. The system adopts dual-camera synchronous imaging technology to record the dynamic process of soil shrinkage and cracking in real time from different perspectives. Experiments are conducted in a closed chamber, where the moisture absorption and desorption processes of soil samples can be precisely simulated through heating or water replenishment modules.
Innovatively, the system employs a bottom uniform infiltration method for soil humidification, which effectively reduces water flow disturbance on the upper surface and significantly improves the reliability and repeatability of test results. By integrating image and environmental monitoring data, the system allows quantitative analysis of critical indicators such as shrinkage rate and crack propagation behavior, providing reliable experimental support for research in geotechnical engineering, agricultural soil science, geological environmental science, and related fields.
